Online sales are a rapidly growing industry spanning from the standard retail model to more complex SaS and affiliate revenue style models that call for comprehensive point-of-sale and revenue tracking systems. Weels Corporation has built several high profile E-Commerce sites that can handle the load and security requirements of each individual customer. The philosophy behind Weels Corporation’s e-commerce implementation was designed by their subsidiary, EndWeb Design, for the use in custom implementations for various customers around the United States and abroad.

The UNIX and Linux server platforms provide a strong base for ensuring that database layer of our E-Commerce system gets all of the redundancy, security and stability required by such a critical sales mechanism. Depending on the scale of the job (see Transaction Processing Systems) Weels Corporation may implement a single versus a distributed database model to handle the respective volumes of transactions.

In most standard E-Commerce implementations, we make sure that the system is easy to manage, provides as much useful statistical data as possible, and provides for the possibility of enhancements and additional features as the site grows in size and popularity. All of our implementations use proven application layer platforms such as Magento, Interspire or ZenCart. We build each one of our E-Commerce platforms absolutely made to order and do not tell any of our clients “no” if they ask for something special in the feature set.
